I've watched the Whole Star Wars saga and now I have found something that needs to be cleared up. Some people say that the Movies are just about the War and stuff ... but what actually is about, is the Story of a Boy, who became a Man, who fell and became a Monster, and who was redeemed by his Son. Anakin Skywalker.
Since Episode 1, there's been alot of talk whether Anakin is "The Chosen One" and whether the Prophecy is true. I think it's true wnd that is why I am here to prove it.
In the Original Trilogy, we see Anakin, as an Artificial Human known as Darth Vader. This man somehow became a Powerfull Evil Icon that people would only think that he's evil and has no background what-so-ever. But, by creating the Prequels, George Lucas has proved that Anakin is more than just that. He is actually a normal person, with problems that made him that way. People may think he's just the villain, but in actually fact, he's the victim. He doesn't do things for the sake of Villainy, he do things because he has to, something like he is Forced into the Dark Side.
Well, now to see if he really is "The Chosen One". Let's review the Episodes.
Prequels
Episode I: The Phantom Menance
In this Episode of the Prequel, we se Anakin as a young boy who was extraordinary. He had a special unqiue talent/ability that rare children have. And he's from a place where this talent/ability is very rarely found. What's more, he didn't had a Father. Only a Mother and yet, his Mother gave birth to him. As if it was a Miracle to the Galaxy. This could be a hint of him being the Chosen one.
Later in the Movie, Master Qui-Gon's request to make him a Jedi failed. But Obi-Wan's request was accepted because he wanted to fufill Qui-Gon's wish. Reluctantly, Yoda accepted it and had great fear in young Anakin's training. Anakin became a Jedi Padawan. So that means he's already on the Track to becoming "The Chosen One".
Episode II: Attack Of The Clones
In this Episode, Anakin is already a Man. Yet still, a Jedi Padawan. Why? Because the Jedi Council say his talents are far beyong expectations. He is unpredictable. Most Jedi are not as such of a Fast Learner as Anakin. A hint for Anakin being "The Chosen One". He has a Crush on Padme Amidala, but we'll talk about that later.
Firstly, On Naboo, we see Anakin having Visions in his dreams about he's mother dying ... well, we didn't actually see the Visions, but we saw Anakin seeing them. He could feel something was wrong. Most Jedi by his Age would not be as so Strong to feel other people's pain just like that. It would take them training or whatever, but Anakin just could felt it instantly. This is a Special Gift ... which is also a Curse (Something like Spider-man! Lol...). He then went to Tatooine to find out what's wrong. When he found out about the Truth, his Anger got the Best of him .. this is a step of his Falling.
When Obi-Wan was trapped on Geonosis, he went there to rescue him, and got trapped too. When the Arena Jedi Battle began, he manage to fight off alot of droids and surivived it. 100 Jedis were there, only 20 remained ... and he was in that 20. Another small hint of him being the chosen one. He was skillfull and strong enough to survive such a Harsh Battle.
Then the Clones came in. When he was in the LAAT/i, his smart thinking manage to helped the Clone pilot on the LAAT/i to destroy a Trade Union Ships easily. Another small hint.
When he and Obi-wan confronted Count Dooku, he's Arrogance got the best of him and causing him to get Force Lightninged (Is that even a word?). He manage to survive it and was strong enough to defend Obi-Wan from Dooku. He was skillful enough to Duel a Sith Lord for sometime. Most Padawans would instantly get killed when engaging a Sith Lord. Another hint. He was skillfull and strong enough to fight a Sith Lord ... eventhough he was defeated and got his Arm cut off ...
Lastly, he marries with Padme. He's taking a very big Risk by disobeying the Jedi Law secretly. In my knowledge about "The Chosen" people, they are always brave enough to take Risk even if it will bite them back eventually. So this is another hint.
Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith
This Episode changes the whole Prequels and make it match with the Trilogy. Anakin falls to the Dark Side. He's anger totally got the best of him and he ends up killing everyone ... well, not totally everyone. But if you look at his expression correctly, while killing and executing Order 66, he isn't happy about it. Even causing Mace Windu's death. He doesn't want to do it, but he must. He was forced into the Dark Side.
During the LAAT/i Conversation between Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Mace Windu, Obi-Wan asked whethere the Prophecy was true and whether Anakin was "The Chosen One". No one could be sure, but Yoda explained that it could be a Missed read Prophecy. Some of the Audience would already think that Yoda was instantly right. But he's not. The Prophecy is true ... and I can still prove it.
Anakin ends up getting burnt and transforming into a Machine more than Man. Darth Vader. Before the finaly Duel with Obi-Wan, Anakin said that he could even over-throw the Emperor ... so could he? If he is more powerfull than the Emperor, this is also another Hint of him being "The Chosen One".
After this Episode, Anakin is totally out of track of becoming "The Chosen One" ... but that doesn't mean the Prophecy isn't true. The Prophecy says The Chosen One will bring balance to The Force and defeat the Sith. Which Anakin will ... eventually ... but for now, he joins the Sith.
Original Trilogy
Episode IV: A New Hope
Anakin's first full appearance as Darth Vader and he's first Episode where no one calls him Anakin. Nothing much about him being the Chosen one here. But he manage to survive the Death Star attack and was strong to be the ultimate villain.
Episode V: The Empire Stikes Back
The Episode that shocked everyone. The biggest shocker in history was showed in this Episode. It's not because of the First Battle Lost by the Rebel Alliance. It's because of the revealing of the Truth.
Vader had the guts and was brave enough to fight he's own Son and reveal Luke the truth that he is really, Luke's Father. Like I said before, the Chosen people are usually brave enough to take risk, and for this instance, Vader took the risk by revealing himself to Luke. A hint ... but not a big one. With this, Vader is slowly resuming his track to making the Prophecy true.
Episode VI: Return Of The Jedi
The Final Battle. The battle that changes everything. Luke accepted the Truth of Vader being being his Father ... and for the first time in a long time, the name Anakin Skywalker was finally heared ... though Vader didn't liked it much ...
Vader and Luke duel ... and Vader Lost, with his Robotic Arm cut off ... again ... and Luke knowing about his father having the same kind of Hand like him. He stops the fight and didn't wanted to kill Vader. The Emperor took advantage of this and Force Lightning Luke. Vader, watching this, could feel the pain of his Son. He wanted to save him. He didn't want to lose another loved one (Luke is his Son. Who wouldn't love their Son?). For once in a long time, Vader did a Great thing by Throwing the Emperor into the Death Star Core and killing The Sith! He was redeemed from the Sith by saving his Son and sacrificing himself. So that means he did destroy the Sith and brought Balance to The Force.
The Prophecy was true afterall ... and with this, I conclude my long theory.
